Gaurav Walia is an equestrian breeder and wildlife conservationist.
He is founder of the Aldebaran Arabians program; a progressive project in the preservation of the archetypal history and timeless beauty of the Arabian Horse, using the classic breed foundation of Polish, Straight Egyptian and Russian bloodlines. This endeavor springs from Gaurav’s natural conservation interests, stemming from his roots in a long line of African pioneers and ecological study. His San Francisco-based studio, Guided Safaris. Inc, is an Internationally-recognized luxury brand in the world of bespoke safaris that supports some of Africa's most important conservation projects in off-the-map ecological hotspots. Raised in East Africa, he has traveled to over 30 countries for Guided Safaris.
Gaurav resides in California, USA and spent years previously living and working in London, Cape Town and Nairobi. His mission is to grow his creative inspirations as a means for funding conservation and artistic development.
